My name is Emmanuel Ayomide Praise. A Solid Background Prior To The Emergence Of Internet Marketing
Prior to coming to this industry, I developed a solid background in Media and Journalism. As far back as 1999, I was already analysing sports on Nigerian television stations such as AIT, MITV,NTA NETWORK amongst others. I was also severally featured on Raypower 100.5 FM as well as Raypower 106.5 FM. Infact, at a time, when the now defunct Raypower 2(106.5FM), which was then in patnership with BBC London, was created, I was very active in their sports programmes, having a regular input in the daily sports analysis around the afternoon belt. My articles have been published by such renown newspapers as The Guardian, Punch, Fame Magazine and Evening Express to mention a few.
Unknown to many people, I also set a record in 2002 as being the youngest gainfully employed sports journalist and reporter in Nigeria when I got on the payroll and became a full-time staff of Nigeria's first, leading and foremost sports publishing house, Complete Communications Ltd, publishers of such remarkabale titles such as Complete Sports, Complete Football and Sports Souvenir (now defunct). I was actually on the staff list of Complete Football (Magazine) and Complete Sports (daily). I had a nice time working with them for the period of sixteen months(2002-2003), after which i left to pursue my academic dreams. I was actually 17 years of age when I joined, was fresh from secondary school and even set a record in the whole company as being the youngest staff in the history of the company. I mean, no seventeen-year old had ever been employed in the history of the company or infact, any other media house, in the country, as a full-time staff.
It was remarkable that the company had to convene a meeting with all the editors who vehemently opposed the employment of a seventeen-year old. The only editor who insisted that I MUST be employed was the editor of the football magazine who wanted me to work exclusively with him.. At that time, I was known as "Emmanuel Effiong". My father is Bassey Asuquo Effiong from Akwa-Ibom state in South-South Nigeria and my mother is Ayodele Adenuga from Ogun State in South-West Nigeria.I was born in Ibadan, Oyo-State and i have lived in Lagos for the past 16 years.
As an internet entreprenuer, I have been featured in Punch Newspapers where I wrote on "How To Make Money Online Through Legitimate Means" . I have also been featured in MITV on their morning belt programme, "AM TRIP" on Tuesday the 13th of May 2008.
